- なお、「熊笹」という表記もよく見受けられるが、ほとんどは「隈笹」の誤字である。しかし、健康食品の中には、熊の絵を描いたり、熊の出るような深山の笹などと称して「熊笹」としているものもある(その「熊笹」が「隈笹」と同一かは、健康食品のパッケージの表記では普通わからない)。
