Comments

The Far-East god of war 蚩尤 (티우*, tiu) might well be identified with the Western counterpart such as English Tiu or Tiw, German Ziu, Nordic Tyr, and even Latin Mars. Meanwhile, Latin Mars Thingsus ^[39] strongly suggests that Thing or the like was characteristic of the above-mentioned Germanic god of war. Such may be the case with 蚩尤 and 廳, anyway in close association!
