I think there is an opportunity to provide an internal link to a Wikipedia page on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs under the 2nd heading - satisfies the assessment criteria and is also helpful for people who aren't as informed on the ideas of this theory. I also think there is potential to discuss the impact that self actualisation will have on an individual, for example higher satisfaction/happiness and high self efficacy. Well done with your chapter so far. I have made some suggestions for some grammatical changes. For instance, at times your inconsistent with your capitals when writing "self-actualisation". Secondly, there is a sentence that could be made more concise. Lastly, perhaps revisit this in-text citation (Reeve, 2018; Fabian, 2019). The most important feedback is to be careful to address the topic/answer the question. This should not be a chapter about self-actualisation per se but about what motivates self-actualisation - there is a subtle, but important difference. Make sure the structure, focus, and content are sufficiently disciplined to focus on the latter. In this respect, the most important of the proposed content is probably in the "SDT posits a spectrum of motivation from intrinsic to extrinsic" section.

Avoid providing too much background information. Briefly summarise generic concepts and provide internal wiki links to further information. Then focus most of the content on directly answering the core question(s) posed by the chapter sub-title.

Hi,
I did an edit of your whole chapter, I suggest removing most of the dot pints, and introduce a topic before having a subheading under the main heading ie. not going straight from the heading to a subheading but discussing what this section as a whole is focussing on. Nice work!

Hi there! Your book chapter is looking great you've done a really good job! I particularly liked that in your "Types of extrinsic motivation" table you not only provided a description but an example too! One thing I would suggest though if you have the time is to eliminate some of the dot points so they are just paragraphs. For example, your "Developmental criteria for self-actualisation" section can benefit from no use of dot points and just paragraphs. Additionally with your "goal setting" section double check that the indentations fit within its context, if that makes sense! Hope that all makes sense.
