APA style for citations
[edit source]Hi, there is a small error in the citation, they do not need to be Italic. --U3178984 (discuss • contribs) 10:02, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
Comments
[edit source]Hi, interesting topic choice! An idea for content could be recurring nightmares in people with post traumatic stress disorder. Good luck! U3130574 (discuss • contribs) 00:43, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
This sounds like a very interesting topic! I have a few ideas that you might like to consider. An interesting concept would to be look at the differences between adults and children experiencing nightmares, as well as considering if insomnia (which might be caused by nightmares) would have an influence on emotions. I'm looking forward to seeing how this chapter will develop! --U3190229 (discuss • contribs) 07:20, 28 August 2020 (UTC)

APA referencing, APA formatting and a case study question
[edit source]Hey your chapter is looking great, just a few recommendations:
1. Just make sure you are doing APA 7th edition referencing: this means you do not need to italicise citations and when you have three or more authors you need to put et al., for example where you have Spoormaker, Schredl & Bout, 2006 it should be Spoormaker et al., (2006)
2. The name of theories should not be capitalised, only theorists names should have a capital for example Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Refer to this website for more information. https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/capitalization/diseases-disorders-therapies
3. For the Buhler and Largo study remember to put in the date for the citation
4. When referring to direct quotes remember to add a page number
5. In the study by Perogamvros et al., 2019 you refer to HEM amplitude, did you mean REM? or is another concept. If so, it may be beneficial to explain what HEM means
I hope these comments are useful and can be helpful to you. You chapter is really great so far!
