Collapsible tables

[edit source]

Currently tables with class="collapsible collapsed" don't work on Wikiversity, but work on Wikipedia.
(Compare e.g Examples at the beginning of Full octahedral group to the same in w:Octahedral symmetry.)

This works.

Now resolved. We're having a lot of issues lately where Wikiversity's MediaWiki:Common.css and MediaWiki:Common.js are not matching Wikipedia's files. There's not a one-to-one correspondence in how they have been implemented, so direct imports aren't possible. We have to read carefully to ensure we aren't breaking things as we update. We should ultimately reconsider our approach to these two files. The current design makes support very difficult, and surprises frequent. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 22:33, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to publicly thank User:Dave Braunschweig for all the work that he has done improving the functionality of Wikiversity. Each little fix might not seem like much, but I can't even begin to list all the improvements you've made to the usability of our site. We really appreciate your participation here. I'd like to award you the WikiMedal for Janitorial Services for keeping our wiki pages unclogged! --mikeu talk 23:02, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with Mike here; thanks, Dave - these "little" things make a big difference. -- Jtneill - Talk - c 12:37, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ditto Mike and Jtneill on the Dave's usefulness. When he's not administrating he's hacking away at a myriad of little things.--Guy vandegrift (discusscontribs) 13:52, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Researching Cryptocurrency Tipping to Incentive Creative Common Contributions?

[edit source]

Would researching cryptocurrency tipping to incentive Creative Common contributions be a topic that is acceptable to publish research about onto this wiki? No problem if not. Michael Ten (discusscontribs) 05:16, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Michael Ten: Sure! —Justin (koavf)TCM 06:20, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
