Heading casing[edit source]

FYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings (or sentence casing). For example, use:

Sounds like an interesting topic!   1. There is a lot to like about this chapter and it has clear potential of being a high quality chapter. The main area for improvement is developing from bullet-points to paragraphs for the main content.
  2. Measurement of NS is of some, but not primary interest. So, it should be demoted below a review of theory, research, and applied practice. Ironically, it seems that much of the research cited uses other measurement techniques such as neurophysiological approaches.
  3. This chapter is under the maximum word count.

  1. Relevant research is well reviewed and discussed in relation to theory. More explanation is needed of some of the technical information. This is where linking to the measurement section could potentially be useful.

  1. Overall, this is a basic, but sufficient presentation.

Structure and content[edit source]

  1. The opening slide topic (NS and crime) doesn't match the book chapter title and sub-title. Criminality could be used as an example/case study, but it doesn't match sense to adjust the focus away from the original topic. Having said that, the presentation only addresses NS and crime towards the end.
  2. The presentation lacks slides for the Overview and Conclusion with with practical, take-home messages.
  3. Overall, there is too much content. Aim to present less content, more effectively. Work out what the take-home messages are and work backwards from there.

Communication[edit source]

  1. The presentation is very text-based. The slides are too dense with text which makes it difficult to read and listen. Consider using more slides with larger font size and less text.
  2. Reasonably well paced. Consider leaving longer pauses between sentences and slides.
  3. The visual communication could be improved by including some relevant images.

  1. Use the chapter title and sub-title on the opening slide and in the name of the video because this helps to match the book chapter and to clearly convey the purpose of the presentation.
