Deletion Request[edit source]

Moved from Wikiversity:Requests for Deletion

I found the page by accident, but it's quite ambiguous and doesn't seem to have any particular purpose or role as a learning resource within the Geography course. If someone would like to work on it, that is great, but as it stands it's hardly useful. Nominating for deletion per criteria #1 under Wikiversity:Deletions. --SelfieCity (discusscontribs) 21:04, 28 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Added a learning task Geography/Henry Hudson that refers to Geography. --Bert Niehaus (discusscontribs) 07:02, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@SelfieCity: We tend not to have a lot of deletion discussions at Wikiversity. Anything that would qualify for Wikiversity:Deletions can simply be tagged with {{Delete}} rather than {{dr}}. Since there is now an effort to improve the resource, I recommend moving this discussion to Talk:Geography/Henry Hudson. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 14:54, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thanks for explaining! I'll move the discussion to Talk:Geography/Henry Hudson as you requested. SelfieCity (discusscontribs) 15:34, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As this page stood before the most recent edits, I would support User:SelfieCity's contention that the page had no educational value or discussion in history. Now I'm not sure. But I am sure that the page doesn't relate to the current design of the Geography learning project, and is best left out of the main page structure for now. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 16:46, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Talking to myself, I now see that the page is linked from the main page, with a completely different name. If that is the intent, this page should be renamed. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 16:52, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
