I'm going to archive this as it appears that no mentors were available during the time frame. We also need to take a closer look at the probationary policy as it looks like it might need to be updated to reflect current Wikimedia policy. After quite some thinking, I have decided that I'd like to run for the custodianship rights. I was promoted to Curator on Dec. 18, 2015... nearly a month ago, and since then... I've been working on PRODs, deleting files, and deleting talk pages of unblocked IP proxies.

I think now... it's the right time. I don't believe that the Curator rights should last more than a month. I've already felt the "breeze" of adminship through the curator right. I'm am willing to do tedious and long tasks, so letting me have a few extra buttons to work on unblocking proxies could easily make things go faster. And I'm also looking forward to working on the Spam Backlist log... as I do at Wikibooks, where I have been an administrator since March.

I also have experience from other wikis, such as Meta.. and the fact I'm an SWMT member, so I guess I'm a "out of the box" WV contributor ;-P

And if it matters, I have a basic/elementary knowledge of Dutch and Danish, and no understanding of Polish and Tamil (but studying those languages).

I don't see this as a rush imo, but there seems to be more things I could help with... again mentioning the Spam blacklist log, and the unblocking of proxies (which I want to help with, since it will take months). As well as with vandals/spambot that float around here time to time as well, from my experience at WB. The Curator rights were quite limited, but with the custodian flag...
