Welcome WikiCast
[edit source]Wikiversity is a metacommunity. As a Wikimedia project, we would like to "partner" with other communities and projects that have similar goals and interests. WikiCast fits our model for outreach into the community-at-large. We hope to develop this learning project using hands-on experience under our Internet Audio and Video Division - part of the School of Media Studies and a content development project to extend the Engineering and Technology Portal. Premature to delete at this time
[edit source]WikiCast has lost it's wiki, but I think both the participants and the idea are a group whose time is right. WCR is a learning experiment in podcasting and webcasting, but as it develops it's focus should be towards the participants of Wikiversity (in paticular, Education, learning and those communities). As such, the Wiki community will need something beyond our scope. Historybuff 21:55, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Why don't we redirect this page to Wiki Campus Radio? It doesn't seem to serve much purpose at the moment. If the project resurfaces, then we can restore this page to a previous version and let it reblossom.. Cormaggio talk 08:51, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Debatepedia.org launch
[edit source]Since this is something of an outreach forum, I thought I might direct this forum to the new Debatepedia.org that recently launched with the International Debate Education Association on Oct. 12th. Debaterx 00:00, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
