This seems like a great topic to be writing about. Perhaps place your focus questions in a feature box to place importance on what you are wanting the reader to focus on and the main points you are trying to get across. Keep up the good work, you're almost there! --U3158296 (discusscontribs) 00:06, 19 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Now here's a topic I'm sure most of us can relate to :) I really liked your inclusion of a bunch of focus questions! It really sets the tone for the rest of the page, and as you read along you can keep going back them. I think it really outlines what specific information is important. I sort of wish more people had adopted this focus-question format (I wish I had, too!) --Demimimimi (discusscontribs) 11:58, 20 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Overall

[edit source]
  1. Overall, this is a basic presentation that makes effective use of simple tools.
  1. Opening statistics - context? International? Australian?
  2. Add and narrate an Overview slide (e.g., with focus questions), to help orientate the viewer about what will be covered.
  3. Reasonably well selected content - good mix of theory and research - but feels rushes, so probably need to be more selective about presenting only the most important content..
  4. The presentation is reasonably well structured.
  5. A Conclusion slide is presented with a take-home message(s).
  1. The presentation is easy to follow.
  2. Consider adding more examples.
  3. The presentation uses text and image based slides with narrated audio.
  4. Consider slowing down and leaving longer pauses between sentences. This can help the viewer to cognitively digest the information that has just been presented before moving on to the next point.
  5. The font size is sufficiently large to make it easy to read.
  6. The visual communication is supplemented by images.
  1. The chapter title and sub-title are clearly communicated in the video title and opening slide.
  2. Audio recording quality was quiet and was faded out at the beginning of several slides - review microphone set-up.
  3. Video recording quality was excellent.
  4. Image copyright status is provided.
  5. A copyright license for the presentation is not provided.
  6. A link to the book chapter is provided.
  7. A link from the book chapter is provided.
  8. A basic written description of the presentation is provided.
