linking

[edit source]

Heya Collect. Looks like you're not used to subpaged wikis :-). A few tips:

  • To link to wikipedia, use the "w:" prefix in the link (e.g., [[w:Sarah Palin]] makes w:Sarah Palin, or you can make it prettier by adding a pipe on the end so that [[w:Sarah Palin|]] will subst the pipe to make Sarah Palin.
  • To link to subpages, you need to link the whole name (Wikipedia and the 2008 US elections‎/Sarah Palin), at least from talk pages. There are shortcuts as well, but don't function when you're linking from a talk page to a content page.

Thanks for chipping in so far! --SB_Johnny talk 12:32, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
