This is a page to discuss the proposed current applications to join the editorial board or as an associate editor of the WikiJournal of Science.

Apply to be an associate editor

As per the journal bylaws, an editorial board member or associate editor is elected after a majority vote, counting after 7 days of voting, by the following electorate:

  • Current editorial board members.
  • Peer reviewers who have completed at least one peer review of WikiJournal of Science.
  • Editors with at least 30 edits to WikiJournal of Science pages.
  • Not an individual voting for herself/himself.

After fulfillment of the above, any current editorial board member can execute the acceptance, by copy-pasting {{subst:WikiJournal accepted board member}} or {{subst:WikiJournal accepted associate editor}} underneath the votes.

Professional - Leader of the Open and Reproducible Research Group at Graz University of Technology and Senior Researcher at Know-Center GmbH, Graz.Coordinator of the H2020 project ON-MERRIT, researching issues of equity in Open Science.
Publishing - Editor-in-Chief of the MDPI open access journal ‘Publications.’
Open - Former Scientific Manager for OpenAIRE, co-lead for Transpose, ON-MERRIT project coordinator, and core member of Research Data Alliance Austria, Open Access Network Austria and the Austrian Open Science Support Group. Co-leads Transpose, a grassroots initiative to build a crowdsourced database of journal policies for preprints and peer review.

Publishing - Published research articles & reviews in refereed international journals and cnference proceedings. Manuscript reviewer of leading international journals of material sciences, supercritical fluides,chemical sciences, microbiology and biotechology.
Open - Directed research projects funded by ministry of Defence, Biotechnology, University Grants Commission India and private organizations.Availed patents in the area of polymer processing and degradation.
