Support - Having an associate editor with prokaryotic cell bio and synthetic biology will be useful. Especially, their work with ASAPbio and TRANSPOSE shows a clear commitment to a breadth of OA projects. T.Shafee(Evo﹠Evo)talk 01:32, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
- Per Sylvain below, I agree that their experience would also be particularly valuable to the editorial board. T.Shafee(Evo﹠Evo)talk 01:20, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
Support - I'll let the biologists speak about biology, and only comment on the 'open' aspect. Jessica Polka is manifestly very experienced at a senior level in advancing open scientific publishing. She could help the journal evolve from its current experimental status, towards a more mature organization. I would also support an application to the editorial board (rather than associate editor). Sylvain Ribault (discuss • contribs) 19:59, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
Support - Welcome aboard! And I concur with Sylvain's supporting an application to the editorial board. --Marshallsumter (discuss • contribs) 22:19, 10 January 2019 (UTC)
