Thank you for this submission. We are now contacting potential peer reviewers. In the meantime, below are a few items to consider:

  1. We've done some initial formatting to the article (tables, figures and headings). Please check if you are happy with these and make any further changes.
  2. An optional suggestion for an possible improvement would be to include a figure with any available SARS CoV2 protein structures (e.g. PDB: 6NB6​). In the tables, it might also be worthwhile indicating those that are structurally characterised.
Update: It was subsequently realised in discussion with the author that the submission to WikiJSci was an error, and that the preprint server was being used as part of a submission to The Protein Journal. Section numbering[edit source]

Should the roman numeral be kept in the section headings for the subsections of WikiJournal Preprints/The Proteins of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS CoV-2 or n-COV19), the Cause of COVID-19#1. Thank you for the comment. Actually orf1a and orf1ab have the same open reading frames and they are not considered completely separate genes as if you were to compare orf1ab vs. orf2 (spike protein).
