- afaik bitcoin is a protocol running on top of TCP/IP quick look in the german wikipedia (sorry no time for more searching) says the same: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin --Renepick (discuss • contribs) 20:03, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
