Heading casing[edit source]

FYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings. For example, use:

Page Discussion[edit source]

Hello. I like the simple layout of your page, it is coming together really well. One thing I noticed was the statement "incidences where paramedics have been needed has doubled since 2012-2013", I have heard of an increase in alcohol related incidences where paramedics need to respond, although generally if someone uses to much cannabis they eat to much junk food and fall asleep. The statistics on cannabis related injuries I don't believe exists. If you talked about an increase in those suffering from drug psychosis, this may be more relevant with the increase of THC in cannabis in recent times, at the expense of the natural anti-psychotics that were contained in the natural plant. Also some may use cannabis to self-medicate in the case of depression and then give it up later when thing in their life change. This in no way is condoning cannabis use as many of the effects are still being determined, especially when used by adolescents where significant neurological changes are happening. Hi! Interesting topic! I thought perhaps you might want to include the certain brain structures that are responsible for negative emotions, and what parts of the brain are being effected most in terms of the deficits you have mentioned as a result of cannabis use.   1. Overall, this is a reasonable chapter which could be improved by a more disciplined focus on addressing the question. For example, the question is about negative emotions, but positive effects are also covered - remove and refocus. Link to related Wikipedia articles and/or book chapters for info about positive effects. Also, there is no need to look into details about what cannabis is etc. - summarise this briefly and link to relevant Wikipedia articles.

  1. Theory about how/why and what negative emotion effects of Cannabis isn't really covered - the best material in this sense is about anxiety, but psychosis, depression, and paranoia are not emotions.
  2. Consider adding more examples.
