  1. Overall, this is a basic presentation.

  2. An overview slide explaining the key questions and the structure.
  3. There is some confusion on the slide about emotional eating and whether or not it helps people to feel better.
  4. Very few slides include relevant citations.
  5. There is relatively little explicit coverage of motivational theory and/or related research.
  6. The conclusion doesn't refer to any theories.
  1. Communication is reasonably clear.
  2. Some text on some slides is too small (and only uses part of the page) to read easily. One solution could be use more slides with less text and larger font.
  1. Basic tools are used to make the presentation.
  2. Audio recording clarity is reasonably good. There is some background white noise.
  3. No link to the book chapter is provided.
  4. No acknowledgement of the source of images is provided - there may have been some copyright violation.

  2. When describing important research findings, indicate the size of effects in addition to whether or not there was an effect or relationship.
  1. Written expression is generally very good.
    1. Avoid one sentence paragraphs. A paragraph should typically consist of three to five sentences.

    1. Figures were used effectively; captions could be more detailed.
  3. Learning features
    1. Some links to Wikipedia and/or Wikiversity articles were added as external links - these should be changed to interwiki links
  4. Spelling
    1. Use Australian spelling (e.g., hypothesize -> hypothesise)
  5. Grammar and proofreading
    1. Check and correct the use of ownership apostrophes (e.g., individuals vs. individual's vs. individuals')
    2. Use abbreviations such as "e.g." inside brackets and "for example" outside brackets
    3. The grammar of some sentences needs improvement (e.g., see the [grammar?] tags)
  6. APA style
    1. The reference list is not in full APA style.
