editing[edit source]

Thought I'd help you get started with sorting out your headings. I added a few extra things like 'see also, references, overview' I didn't change any of the wording of your sections. Good luck DorisWeasley (discusscontribs) 05:48, 20 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Formatting[edit source]

Hey! Your chapter looks great! You do a great job of describing the relevant theories and the topic in general. However I would suggest that as the book chapter is aimed at self help, perhaps the information that is most aimed at being helpful to readers could be easier to find on the page. You have some very large paragraphs, and while they are full of well presented and good information, it could be a bit daunting for someone to read, especially if they are just looking for a few basic tips. Maybe you could add some text boxes with some quick helpful hints for people looking for help with your subject. Looking forward to reading through the completed chapter and seeing the multimedia presentation! Iluvyoga4lyf3 (discusscontribs) 06:22, 29 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Heading casing[edit source]

FYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings. For example, use:

==Cats and dogs==

rather than

==Cats and Dogs==

Overall[edit source]

Wonderful effort – this is an informative and engaging chapter.

Theory[edit source]

The chapter provides the main theories driving the research in this area at the moment which was good to see. A decent attempt at critical analysis. It would be good to also provide critical analysis of the motivation theory.

Research[edit source]

The chapter reviews a wide range of research and includes relevant information. Again, there was a lack of critical analysis of the research, even though it’s a self help chapter, it is also an academic resource. The research is drawn together in a sound conclusion and self help application- great job.

Written expression[edit source]

The quality of written expression is good. There were a few grammatical issues, thus the chapter would benefit from more thorough editing or having someone else read over your. References need DOI's or web address for access as per APA style.

The headings were correct (although lower case should be used as per above message) and and the flow of the paragraphs works well. The chapter has some nice learning features. There are appropriate in text links and the pictures break up the text nicely. Also include an interactive feature as well, such as a quiz. Fantastic work!.Courtney.reis (discusscontribs)

Overall[edit source]

Wow, what a fantastic presentation! Well done. See below for feedback.

Structure and content[edit source]

The presentation had a lovely flow and had fabulous inclusion of the theoretical background, as well as some critical analysis – great job. A suggestion for improvement might be to integrate a little more research into the presentation, though this is a minor criticism.

Communication[edit source]

The visual aspects of the chapter were fantastic and the presentation was very creative. The speaking tone was clear and well paced, good job.

Production quality[edit source]

The quality of the production was good and the voiceover was clear though very fast. The presentation made effective use of images and recorded aspects. Remember to include references and licensing information. Fantastic effort! Courtney.reis (discusscontribs)
