[edit source]Great work so far! Lots of information happening. Wonder if you could incorporate something about Narcissistic Personality Disorder in here? Individuals with this disorder feel pathologically deserving of praise/attention and feel extreme cockiness and confidence. When criticised they will act with hostility and take personal offence at any form of criticism, believing they are unique or their efforts are special and deserving of excessively high praise. This angle might help? By contrast, major depression can make people feel unworthy and completely underserving. (I just re-read and noticed you've already got a bit in there about depression) you're way ahead of me. Hope this helps! Best of luck! PatrickBateman (discuss • contribs) 04:02, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
Overview and Quiz
[edit source]Hi SaraAnne123 ;)
I was just having a look at your page, it looks amazing by the way but I was thinking that with your overview section maybe it could include something a bit more broad? Such as - why is feeling as though you deserve something important on our emotional state? If you get what I mean?.. Also love the quiz, but throw some tricky ones in there!

Overall[edit source]A nicely presented chapter with some great information - well done! This area is particularly well done. The focus on one main theory provided a solid foundation for the chapter. The inclusion of the section on schadenfreude was also really interesting - I definitely learnt something! Also, well done for including critical thinking. To improve further, incorporate these thoughts throughout the chapter. Research was quite well integrated throughout. It is acknowledged that deservingness is an area with less research than others, however reading more widely would benefit the chapter. Are there other areas that overlap? This chapter is really nicely presented and structured. The interactive features are great, and APA was well done. To improve further, include more links throughout. ShaunaB (discuss • contribs)

Overall[edit source]Overall, this is nicely presented and provides an adequte summary of chapter content - nice job! Theory and research are included throughout. Some concepts could be further explored, for example, results of the tall poppy study were not expressed. The flow of the presentation is logical and clear. Ideas are communicated clearly through voice and image. Some slides may be a little 'text heavy'. I found the presentation to be engaging. The inclusion of illustrative examples would benefit the presentation. Picture quality is good, although some text is a little small. Sound quality could be improved. The presentation appears to be well prepared, and comes across as quite professional. ShaunaB (discuss • contribs) |
