Hi Brooke,

I think you have done really well. The content flows well, and I like the layout of your chapter. I agree with one comment re enlarging the pics a bit, especially hard to see a couple of them. Good Job though! Duane Toohey180.200.173.254 (discuss)

Hi

[edit source]

Hi Brooke, I saw your post on Moodle. Happy to help with your page if you need it. I have to head to uni now, but just had a quick glance at your page. The first thing I would recommend is to enlarge your pictures a little bit as they are a bit hard to see at the moment. All you do is add in |###px| into the syntax before the bit where you write the text. The ### are numbers. Try about 300px and see what that looks like and you can adjust it from there. All mine are about 250-350px from memory. I haven't read anything yet, thats just the impression I got from my first look at it. You'll get there don't worry! Lynnmaree-27 (discusscontribs) 22:30, 4 November 2013 (UTC) I've enlarged yr first pic just to show you, you can just delete the 350px| if you want it back to the original versionLynnmaree-27 (discusscontribs) 00:32, 5 November 2013 (UTC) I have no idea whats going on with the time stamp thingy - it's 11.30am not half past midnight!lol!Reply

I saw your post on moodle, perhaps if you are having trouble writing a conclusion/overview you could refer to the 'themes in the study of motivation'. These are overarching concepts of motivation and could help you to discuss your topic in a more broad scope. Hope this helps! Jenna Chambers (discusscontribs) 13:01, 6 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Overall

[edit source]

A solid effort, you have produced an interesting and applicable chapter, well done!.

The chapter demonstrated a broad knowledge of theories, good work. Well done for honing in on theory in depth, this was good to see. There was some evidence of critical analysis with Maslows theory, for future improvement integrate this analysis into the chapter

The chapter included some interesting research and showed good real world application and integration with theory. Again, for future improvement, evidence of critical analysis of the research is necessary

The chapter was generally well written, but contained a few spelling and punctuation errors, be sure to thoroughly edit before submission The chapter had some good figures, but could benefit in future from some more learning features, such as an interactive feature like a quiz and some in text links. The APA style could benefit from some improvement, remember to include APA style for figures, reference all statements with scientific research (i.e in your hormone section), include years and author for all in text citations and DOI’s or web addresses for all references. Great effort! Courtney.reis (discusscontribs)

Overall, a great effort. See comments below for feedback

The presentation had a logical flow and covered most of the key points of the chapter. The presentation would benefit from some more integration of research into the discussion of theory.

The presentation used images to great effect. The presentation would benefit from being refilmed with a clearer recording – the voiceover was a little unclear and hard to understand at times.

The quality of the production was good, though the comments above regarding the voiceover apply here too. The presentation made very effective use of images and basic tools, well done. Remember to include licensing information. Great effort! Courtney.reis (discusscontribs)
