School Structure and Where to Begin
The School of Paramedicine is structured to deliver a complete educational pathway for individuals at any level of knowledge to achieve the goal of a comprehensive understanding and practice of optimal, holistic care for patients in the pre-hospital setting by allowing them to customise what they wish to study, and guiding them through the process.
The School is divided into Programs which are listed bellow. Each program has a descriptive name, an objective statement, a Program Assessment Piece and a number of supporting Classes. As a rule of thumb Programs should be dense enough that if you were to study them full-time, they would take around a week to complete, but not so long that it would take any longer at full-time study pace. Users should feel free to create their own programs, following the Program Structure Guide.
If you are unsure where to begin, start from Introduction to Paramedic Practice. If you have previous education in the field, or are feeling the content is too easy, a good gauge of program difficulty and content can be gained by completing the Program Assessment Piece.
