OpenStax University Physics/Archived sample

About this page: This archived sample illustrates how I taught a two semester course in the past. These tests could not be used by other instructors because I had no easy way to post alternate exams on Wikiversity. This page should be deleted when I get classroom-ready exams online for others to use. Perhaps this will be done by January 2019.--Guy vandegrift (discusscontribs) 21:01, 13 August 2018 (UTC)

These study guides are hosted by Quizbank. Students are advised to open the quizzes online, but also download the PDF files for hard copy printing. See #About permalinks and Live links at the bottom of this page. The study guides are pdf files that should be downloaded and saved for use if the internet is unavailable. About permalinks[edit]

If you have reached this page by browsing through Wikiversity, it has potentially been subject to editing. The only way to prevent this is to enter through a permalink that is provided by your instructor.

  • To verify that you are on a permalinked Wikiversity page, look at the top of the page for the words "Revision as of". Also, the http address ends with "&oldid=(series of numbers)".
  • To guarantee that these materials have never been edited, it is best to obtain the http address from a trusted source such as the OpenStax website or from your instructor.
  • Once you have clicked the link to a quiz, you will see links from that quiz. These links are not permalinks. Even the images on the quizzes are subject to change.
  • When in doubt about any of the images on a quiz you are studying, you should refer to the PDF files. The images on the PDF files are not linked to the current image on Commons.
