Classwork on April 26[edit source]

1. The different between cloud computing and a normal computer
- The cloud computing is internet-based computing. Not like the software in a normal computer, the cloud computing is faster, more memory, and only pay for the software and information to computers and other devices in amount of what we really use, like a public utility. Moreover,we can access and shared the information everywhere, basically around the world. There are like an attached e-mail that could run application on the share data center. The example of cloud computing are yahoo, g-mail, zoho, and salesforce.

2. How could you turn a classroom into cloud computing?
- We can turn the classroom into cloud computing by create a site for the student in the class to access the information provided by the teacher. For example, classroom online, wikiuniversity. Even though they did not sit in the class. The students could access the information anytime such as their class schedule, homework assignment, and reading list. Additionally, they could easily turn in their works in the cloud computing system as well.

What is the best smart phone operating system and why?

- The answer depends on what you most need your smart phone for. I think the best smart phone OS is BlackBerry OS. According to NPD Group, unit sales for BlackBerry OS smartphones ranked first among all smartphone OS handsets sold in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2010. The operating system provides multitasking and supports specialized input devices that have been adopted by RIM for use in its handhelds, particularly the trackwheel, trackball, and most recently, the trackpad and touchscreen.

Best PC in the world[edit source]

- A custom made computer is the best way to go because even the good brands like Dell can be rather cheaply made. No company makes all parts of the computer, so they have to buy some of the part from other companies. In addition, they cannot make all parts the best. I think we should build PC ourselves and not a store as they are not the best and basically just made to sell. Some examples of the best brand: motherboard is Asus, processor is Pentium, hard drive is Seagate and etc.
