Ancient architecture

[edit source]

Hello, I have seen you working on resources conected with the topic of Egyption architecture. Try to think about a category and place these resources there. Somethink like architecture, history or so. Thank you very much!--Juandev 21:41, 11 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Categories

[edit source]

Hi, I am replying to the categories you did. I think it is OK. My idea of categories is, that all pages conected with this project can be added to Category:Ancient Egyptian Monuments Project. And than this category will stay in category category:architecture, category:archeology, category:history. Which will make the category tree. But as I see you made the pages not subpages, so if you think there are pages which has educational value staying alone we might place there also those categories such as archeology, history and so on, staying together with the project category. Do you understand, what I mean? Please, reply here.--Juan de Vojníkov 19:12, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your work and ideas. I like it. I think I understand what you're saying. I will keep this category tree format. I really liked having the category page creating a sort of index. Regards Barta 23:50, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I can see your grate efforts in that project. But I would like to recomend you, to use internal links instad of external using URL. You can also link to Wikipedia using the prefix "w". Let me show you this example: Djoser was King of Upper and Lower Egypt in ca. 2680 BCE. Djoser was the first king of the 3rd dynasty. The construction and development of the pyramid complex is generally attributed to the architect Imhotep. Link to Imhotep is done via [[w:Imhotep|Imhotep]]. Less URL links, better Wikiversity performing. Thanks and a lot of stamina to continue in the project.--Juan de Vojníkov 19:58, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ah I see, I will fix that in the other links. Barta 23:50, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I was fixing something, but there are many of them. Uf.--Juan de Vojníkov 23:52, 5 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
