Hello everyone, I'm Ben and I would like to help out more at Wikiversity. So far during my short time here I've absorbed alot of the very accepting and friendly culture. Wikiversity isn't like Wikipedia, it's not screwed up and ultra structured - which goes against the wiki principle. Admittedly I'm not a brilliant content contributor but I have the willingness to help which I personally look for in terms of a sysop candidate.
Anyway, onto the nomination. I'm Pumpmeup pretty much everywhere, and a seasoned gnome (behind the scenes guy) on Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons (where I'm a trusted user). I intend to get started as a custodian everywhere I can - backlogs are my specialty! After the probationary period was up (or at least until I'm better known in the community and more acquainted with different ways of doing things) I would like to get into setting up the foundations (and new endeavors) for when the wiki hits its critical mass and then explodes in population, so we've got solid building blocks in place (in the form of specialized help pages, desks, policy, projects, etc). --Pumpmeup 12:11, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
