Guidelines
[edit | edit source]You can write an essay as a subpage of your user page, or anywhere else, and then add a link here. Write something, give it a rest, and then come back and read it. We do request the use of no more than one essay per author. Even that limit does not apply if more collaborators are involved.
It is common for your username to be part of the essay's title, but that is not required. Do your best to follow copyright laws, and clearly inappropriate prose will be deleted. But you have free reign regarding the nature of your essay. It can be a personal "reflection essay", it could be an alternative wikidebate, or a heavily edited version of Are wikidebates a good thing?, or about debates or discourse in general, or even how important questions are dealt with.
