# Wiki2Reveal/Course Pages

Course pages contains all Wiki2Reveal presentation for the cours.

## Course Pages aggregate Learning Resources[edit | edit source]

Wiki2Reveal are just one option for learning resources among others that are listed on course pages. In general learning resources have other relevant components for the course, that can be referenced at the course page.

### Course Pages in Mathematics[edit | edit source]

First of all see an example of a course page for a mathematical lecture - see german lecture in Mathmatics. The course page for a lectures contain

- links to the Wikiversity articles that serve as the source for the Wiki2Reveal presentations, e.g. with additional learning activities.
- links to Wiki2Reveal presentations ("Folien" or "Foliensatz" in german means "slides", i.e. the link to the corresponding Wiki2Reveal presentation of the Wikiversity source article)

E.g. if the Open Source software is used in a mathematics course, then Computer Algebra System Maxima or Octave, that can used on Linux, Windows or MacOSX in the course are referenced with the corresponding Wikipedia article and also links e.g. to Maxima files can be provided on the course pages, e.g. with a GitLab respository for additional files and learning tasks for the course.

### Course Pages in other Domains[edit | edit source]

If your course are assigned to different domains, then you would replace the mathematical tools by other OpenSource tools that could support the learner in working with the learning resource in Wikiversity. Assume with consider the Open Source tool OpenMNT^{[1]}. In the domain of natural language processing a neural network can be used to train the ability to translate a a language A into a language B (e.g. german into english). The learning resource could focus on internal topology of the artificial neural network or it can be a learning task to train the OpenNMT infrastructure in the course, so that the tool will be able to translate certain input text in language A into language B. The Wiki2Reveal presentation serve in this domain example as seminar or lecture input for the students. In a flipped classroom context, a video conferencing e.g. in Open Source BigBlueButton session can be used to address questions of students about the lecture content provided in Wikiversity and questions about using open source translation tool in the course or seminar.
