ABOUT UCRISE[edit | edit source]

The University of Canberra Research Institute for Sport and Exercise is one of the University's four research Institutes.

The Institute was created "to support the University's sporting aspirations through strategic planning and leadership, the co-ordination of sport-related research, consultancy across its faculties and the development of external partnerships".

The Director of the Institute is Professor Kevin Thompson.

UCRISE replaced UCNISS as the University's focal point for sport and exercise research.
