What's the status here? I see some Q1 2014 which we passed and @ruralwebinfo has last tweet from April, ----Erkan Yilmaz 08:08, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We probably should delete this info. I'm not active anymore for RuralWeb and I added most of the changes? Is it possible to delete RuralWeb and all of the subpages? On the other hand? This content was created with the help of people from RuralWeb. Is it an idea to leave a message on the Facebook of RuralWeb? Timboliu (discusscontribs) 21:19, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If this page has more stake holders it's better to inform them. But even if a page has no "involved people" it may be still linked to from outside of WV. So, a deletion is always carefully to be considered.
There are other options to deletions: editing, emptying,...
but: you satisfied my curiosity so people will see this talk page and also get this info.
In any case, here's the link for you: Wikiversity:Requests for Deletion, ----Erkan Yilmaz 09:53, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Erkan Yilmaz, what I would like to do is move the football app project to page CSR. I want to re-start this project from outside RuralWeb. Timboliu (discusscontribs) 20:48, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Link removed as only link to CSR, that page has been moved to Corporate social responsibility --Abd (discusscontribs) 14:19, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • What does RuralWeb have to do with CSR? Is RuralWeb a corporate project? (I.e., a corporation that has other business, that then devotes some portion of profits, or encourages employees, or both -- to engage in social responsibility?)
  • When pages are moved, we should remember to look for subpages and move them too. Custodians can move an entire structure with one command, but ordinary users -- us chickens -- have to do it manually. --Abd (discusscontribs) 13:31, 26 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

deletion request for this page?[edit source]

would be inappropriate. This is a project of two users. There are many subpages. It could be that this should not be at the top level in mainspace, I'd think about where to put it, and don't have time for that right now. Until a better location is identified in mainspace, it should stay here. When moved, the move should be by a custodian, so that the subpages go with it.

There can be a Wikiversity learning resource focused on an external web site, as RuralWeb is. Timboliu may be no longer associated with that web site, which was not his project, but he may well have supported it.

I would think of some resource that focuses on web site development and support. That's quite a general topic that deserves to be on Wikiversity, and I suspect that we already have something related. --Abd (discusscontribs) 14:26, 27 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
