Talk:Progress and Prospects in Parkinson's Research/Therapy/Neuroprotection

This potentially is a very exciting topic. This Neuroprotection page should launch straight into the recent progress that has been made especially as there are some real hopes for Exendin-4 following the recent trial.

The page needs totally re-hashing so that it is review/overview of the current position, the significance of the results to date and prospects for the future. The details are in the subpages so a much freer page structure is called for. More of an essay or magazine review article which is readable and engaging.

This page should also include non-drug therapies including exercise, diet and lifestyle. There will be other pages on such things in their own right and there should be links to them from this page. There is likely to be a considerable overlap between neuroprotection and disease modification.
