Overall

[edit source]
  1. Overall, this chapter provides a readable, indepth account of motivational aspects of anxiety disorders, particularly OCD. It is a rewarding read, with very good coverage of a variety of relevant theory. I particularly liked the independent thinking evident through relating SDT to OCD - great work. More perhaps could be provided with regard to research, however what is provided is excellent (e.g., the gene study). The chapter very well written, although other than some uncaptioned images and a case profile, it doesn't provide much in the way of additional learning features.
  1. Written expression
    1. Some statements needed citation to support their claims - see my edits.
    2. The chapter developed focus questions in the introduction.
  2. Learning features
    1. Images were not captioned.
    2. Some wiki-links were provided; more could be added.
  3. Spelling, grammar and proofreading
    1. Some typos noted e.g. see my edits.
  4. APA style was excellent.
