Overall[edit source]

  1. Overall, this is an excellent chapter. It is interesting, well researched and structured, with helpful learning features. The organisation of the content is excellent and each section is digestable and relevant. The written expression was generally good, although I redrafted several parts to improve the overall clarity of written expression.

Theory[edit source]

  1. An excellent, broad range of theoretical perspectives are presented; these are well selected and generally well-explained.
  2. Are the seven factors you identify as predicting sexual motivation your own synthesis - or do they derive from a source?
  3. Perhaps some over-reliance on Hanson, 1995 as a source in the early sections

Research[edit source]

  1. Impressive use is made of primary research studies; it is clear that considerable work went into ensuring that the chapter had a solid empirical basis

Written expression[edit source]

  1. The written expression was reasonable, however note that I did some redrafting to improve the clarity of wording - check the history to see what was changed. The quality of written expression was CR-DI-level. However, very good wiki formatting and additional learning features (e.g., the quiz were evident).
  2. Wiki-links at the end were useful; to improve further integrate these links in the text.
  3. Use Australian spelling e.g., utilized -> utilised
  4. APA style
    1. Subsequent citations within a paragraph do not use year e.g., Hokanson (1969) but then just Hokanson
    2. Use ampersand (&) inside brackets but and outside of brackets
  5. Definitions of the key terms could be helpful
  6. Excellent quiz
  7. comment

  3. Use of images was very good.
  4. Text was easy to read.
  5. Speaking voice could slow down a bit and use more variety in tone. (it was abit monotone)
  6. The content was well selected and organised, however there was no conclusion and it seemed like you just ran out of time?
  7. No image attributions or presentation licensing?
