Talk:German to English

This is the first of what I reckon to be many Language A to Language B comparative texts. I'm proposing to come up with a page template (boilerplate?) for these types of pages using a side by side two column table. I've made many such proposals and suggestions at Wikiversity translations, but I don't want to charge too far ahead until I complete a few more Multilingual Studies. The biggest show-stopper is the apparent lack of interest (evidenced by the lack of participation) in the whole subject of translation.

Fortunately, A few good translators have stepped forward and started to pave the way in this area. They know who they are and you could too if you took the time. I don't mean to sound so pedantic, but darnit, this stuff is important. CQ 21:58, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
