It would be good if there was a link to the lessons from the page - Networked.Frog — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.173.51.231 (talkcontribs) 09:50, 5 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't think there are any lessons to link to, but I'm actually here and getting involved in Wikiversity, with the purpose of creating a course in ethical hacking. But if anyone knows if there is some lessons already, then just tell me. I know there is a course in IT Security, but it's not completely the same, even though they overlap a bit and there might be cross-links. That course is not complete yet, so I might also add to it too while building on this course. /Patrik Näsfors (discusscontribs) 00:31, 14 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Edit

[edit source]

I just wanted to have the second word in the title capitalized. I need more practice & caution. I shall probably rescind this undo since all I accomplished was the removal of useful information generously added.--Lord Weazel Nobilis (discusscontribs) 09:49, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

This comment seems valid, as it provides another example of a user preferring Title Case articles. We really have a fairly even mix of casing preferences here at Wikiversity. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 01:35, 14 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
You might be right. But I could not see he had made any change to the resource page (page title) - unless there are some hidden revisions in the history, just some edits here at the talk page ("all I accomplished was the removal of useful information generously added", so I thought it might be best to just remove it, but fair enough, lets keep it.
By the way, your cleanup was fine. I can't see there is some "Department of Ethical Hacking", so that was just confusing. /Patrik Näsfors (discusscontribs) 10:33, 14 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
The reference to a department is consistent with the page history showing the page originally being in the Topic: namespace. There were thousands of such "departments", typically with only a single user supporting the department. There was often also no distinct difference between Topic: content and main space content, except that topics aren't included in a default search.
Note that we typically don't copy-edit discussion posts of others. Often, the text and context of a post provides great insight into the perspective of the author. The less explicable the post is, the less weight may be given to the perspective offered. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 12:08, 14 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Page move

[edit source]

I think I have to move the page to a subpage Computer Security since there are both Ethical Hacking and Ethical hacking, making all these confusing and redundant. Bugmenot123123123 (discusscontribs) 19:46, 8 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
