what are its application

Answer to above (unsigned) question: In 1980 Prof. Kaufmann at UC Berkeley told the class they could be used to model the penetration of microwaves into a plasma in controlled fusion applications. See page 249 of: "Generation and Application of High Power Microwaves" R.A Cairns, A.D.R. Phelps (CRC Press, Dec 1, 1997 - Technology & Engineering) Found using a peek at this book through a google search: http://books.google.com/books?id=K_CDDi9wbygC&dq=penetration+of+microwaves+into+a+plasma+hamiltonian+equations&source=gbs_navlinks_s Guy vandegrift (discusscontribs) 02:12, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
