Timeline

1888 October 9, the Horus Temple "was formally consecrated by Mathers at a ceremony held at the Alexandra Hotel" (Howe 54). It was founded by T. H. Pattinson (Küntz 206).

Between ???, the time they joined the Golden Dawn, and 1900, the members of the Horus Temple belonged to a Dawn subgroup that practiced alchemy led by A. W. Ayton.

1897 March, Equinox Ceremony celebrated, the first of only two meetings in 1897 (Howe 189).

1897 September, Equinox Ceremony celebrated, the second of only two meetings in 1897 (Howe 189).

1897 September 26, J. L. Atherton was Cancellarius of the Horus Temple; he wrote Gardner (assuming F. L. Gardner) that he had been unanimously elected to membership in the Horus Temple (Howe 189).
