Demonstrate and have students edit their user page to experience and have a record of basic wiki editing skills (strongly support and encourage students to be doing, not just watching—go at a slow enough pace for students to follow, encourage students to ask for things to be shown again)
In this way, students' user pages will be underway and they'll have a concrete experience of successfully editing Wikiversity
