This chapter aims to discuss the various aspects that are involved with self esteem and its connection to pole dancing. How women can benefit from it for both their physical and mental health. Areas covered include sexuality, feminism, its fitness benefits, racial and ethnic contributions and finally the stigma that it is designed to aesthetically please a man.
