Features of PBL Problems
[edit | edit source]As it is said in the lesson introduction “good problems are essential in PBL”. Think: what features a good PBL problem should have to ensure the above characteristics of PBL? Look at the following inference chain, see if you agree:
According to the above diagram, enhance students’ motivation, enhance students’ critical thinking skills, and enhance students’ collaboration are three essential features of problems in PBLs. As for how to generate problems which consist of such features, the next section will give you detailed guidelines and practical tips.
