Emergency medical responder (EMR)/Critical interventions/Ventricular tachycardia
Appearance
Ventricular tachycardia is a condition in which the heart rhythm is excessively fast (around 170-220 beats per minute). Ventricular tachycardia can prevent the heart from circulating sufficient blood to oxygenate the body. While Ventricular Tachycardia may be tolerated for some time, it can deteriorate into a lethal heart rhythm called Ventricular Fibrillation.
