Vasodilatation[edit | edit source]
Oral methionine loading impairs flow-mediated endothelium-dependent vasodilatation.[1]
Pulmonary[edit | edit source]
Animals given large doses of parenteral methionine or homocysteine thiolactone die of pulmonary embolism and pulmonary infarct.[2]
