MediaWiki, the software that runs Wikiversity and its sister projects, has a feature that allows importing of pages from other wikis. When a page is imported that way, the edit history is preserved and the license observed. Currently, we can import pages from Wikipedia, Wikibooks, Beta Wikiversity, Wikiquote and Wikisource.

Johann Lahodny[edit source]

Hello everyone,

As this is the very first time I am making such a technical request, I hope I am currently writing in the right place and in an adequate way. If not, please feel utterly free to update this content by correcting any unintentional mistake I might have done.

The subject of the request is as follows:

The English version of the article devoted to the Czech-Austrian doctor and professor Johann Lahodny seems to be facing highly specific criteria on the English-speaking Wikipedia, see → correlated debate.

Given that this is also an investigative work that attempts to provide a scientific synthesis of current research still in progress, may I ask you to please perform a global import of the article to Wikiversity, including the entire Wikipedian history?

Once this operation would be done, the previous content on WP could then simply be subsequently converted into a redirection, as formerly suggested by one of the contributors via diff → 958403287. This would then avoid any duplicate entry.

Thank you so much in advance for your help and your kind assistance.

Yours sincerely,

Euphonie (discusscontribs) 04:58, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

YesY Done @Euphonie: I've imported this to User:Euphonie/Johann Lahodny for cleanup before moving to its final location --DannyS712 (discusscontribs) 07:16, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DannyS712: Thank you very much. Kind regards to you, — Euphonie (discusscontribs) 09:22, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DannyS712: A first trial aimed to update the hyperlinks has just been finalized. However, parenthetical referencing does not seem to adequately interact. What would be the internal syntax suitable to Wikiversity regarding this specific aspect ? Same for the terms ISSN, PMC, PMID and doi, which remain in red. Your help and advice would be particularly helpful. Yours sincerely, — Euphonie (discusscontribs) 11:24, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure, sorry --DannyS712 (discusscontribs) 19:58, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DannyS712: The update has been completed and the few former technical hypertextual compatibility issues that were previously mentioned above have now been resolved. Thus, from then on, feel free to upload the article to dedicated section. In addition, can I ask you to please import the page entitled → Template:Infobox medical person so that I can subsequently integrate some focused additional information into the article? Thank you in advance for your help. With kind regards, — Euphonie (discusscontribs) 09:34, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done - Template:Infobox medical person --DannyS712 (discusscontribs) 09:36, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DannyS712: The aforesaid infobox seems to be inextricably combined with this one: → Template:Infobox medical details. May I ask you to please import it as well? Thank you in advance. Sincerely, — Euphonie (discusscontribs) 10:00, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello DannyS712. Did you get my last message above? May I please ask you to import → Template:Infobox medical details as well? Thank you in advance. Sincerely, — Euphonie (discusscontribs) 14:38, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Done - Template:Infobox medical details --DannyS712 (discusscontribs) 14:47, 14 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

English Wikibooks would consider it an original research. Should it be imported here, please?--Jusjih (discusscontribs) 05:04, 29 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
