Notes on the video[edit source]

The ending of this video does not feel natural. It's more like Prof. Dr. Staab's sentence was cut off in the middle of the sentence. Also the fade out to the information about the video happens way too early. René is still talking while the video already visually fades out.

Another thing about this video session in general deals with the lighting. I would not put up lights below the speakers to the sides facing the center. This way, every hand movement creates a clearly visible, distracting shadow on the WeST™®-poster.

Last but not least, I want to comment on the interaction with the camera. This was actually more of a deal in the former video but I want to collect my thoughts about this session in one place. In the last video, I preferred René's interaction with the camera, which was (nearly?) none. Prof. Dr. Staab regularly broke the fourth wall which felt strange to me. I preferred watching two guys chatting casually about the Internet and World Wide Web instead of them looking at me/the camera. --Onse (discusscontribs) 12:35, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Quiz 1[edit source]

why is "All links would be working all the time." a kind of advantage? -Yuan 13:28, 11,November 2013 (UTC)

As someone browsing the Web, would you not prefer never to click a link that does not work? --SteffenStaab (discusscontribs) 12:22, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Web Scale[edit source]

what is the meaning of web to scale ?

In this context it means that the Web went from not available to mass adoption in less than a decade. Such an adoption rate for a completely new and even complex mechanism has never been encountered before --SteffenStaab (discusscontribs) 12:21, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

toii principle question[edit source]

Why this is not correct in the 2nd question?

With the TOII in mind everyone can implement the standards and contribute to the web by running its own web server and link its information
