Approaches

[edit source]

I think a good approach is to tackle computational linguistics along with computational sociology (if there really IS such a thing). I believe (and belief is subjective) that the most fine-grained way is best and such methodology finds expression cheifly from a personal context — language is personal. We Humans use language within ourselves subvocalizing our very thoughts. That practice is extremely personal yet arguably universal. At the other end of the spectrum is global, world-wide, international, again universal linguistics, where linguists, computer scientists, philosophers, psychologist and all sorts of other academics search for those universals amid the screams and warcries of a deeply disturbed world. Perhaps it is all a question of balence (harmony?), between means and extremes. See this approach in a familiar contextCQ 05:16, 1 December 2006 (UTC) Reply
