Template talk:Please don't edit

I think the block displayed on the protected page can be improved by a brief statement that the material is still copyleft with a link to forking justification and procedure Wikiversity:Productive_forking_and_tailoring_is_encouraged but I am not clear on how to edit templates. This would also require brief explanation or link in the proposed forking and tailoring policy about how to easily establish a new page that is a copy of the protected one. Them/him/her[edit source]

Me, myself and I are of the opinion that it would be cool to have an option for "them" to be replaced by "he" or "her". It's not so much for turning Wikiversity into an online dating site, but we generally see ourselves as a single individual. "Them" is grammatically acceptable - there's a wikipedia article somewhere discussing the pros and cons and usage patterns of the different options - but not everybody likes them. Probably a template already exists for this, e.g. {{third-person-gender=(m|f|plural|other)}}... Boud 21:27, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
