Cal Template Replaces Event Template[edit source]
The {{Cal}} template replaces the previous {{Event}} template, which was updated in February 2009 to match the Wikipedia {{Event}} rather than the original Wikiversity ProjectBox-style usage.
{{Cal}} was chosen to be in a shortened naming style similar to other Resource Type project box templates, and to leave {{Calendar}} open so that it could ultimately be a true Calendar template, likely similar to the Wikipedia {{Calendar}}.
