Wikiversity and the Wikimedia Commons
[edit source]What can Wikiversity do to make the Wikimedia Commons a better repository? How are the categories organized? How can Wikiversitans help? I propose we start by getting the top-level category for each Wikiversity language listed at commons:Category:CommonsRoot with the other sister projects. We need to assert our position as a Wikimedia project, imho. Then we need to help analyse the Wikimedia Commons and take an active role in improving its usefulness to the metacommunity. - Done: commons:Category:CommonsRoot now has a Wikiversity section in the Sisterprojects template. Now we need to look at commons:Category:Wikiversity and maybe create some subcategories for our various Schools if that is practical. CQ 20:14, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
