This is a page to discuss the proposed current applications to join the editorial board or as an associate editor
of the WikiJournal of Humanities.

New applications should be made below. Please see the relevant bylaws, ethics requirements for editorial board members, and ethics requirements for associate editors for eligibility, powers, duties and voting.
As per the journal bylaws, an editorial board member or associate editor is elected after a majority vote, counting after 7 days of voting, by the following electorate:
- Current editorial board members.
- Peer reviewers who have completed at least one peer review of WikiJournal of Humanities.
- Editors with at least 30 edits to WikiJournal of Humanities pages.
- Not an individual voting for herself/himself.
After fulfillment of the above, any current editorial board member can execute the acceptance, by copy-pasting {{subst:WikiJournal accepted board member}}
or {{subst:WikiJournal accepted associate editor}}
underneath the votes.

Done Copy their information over to editorial board page using the {{WikiJournal editor summary}} template
Done Add their name and start data to the relevant editorial board on wikidata
Done Direct-add them to the WJHboard mailing list (via this link) which will grant them access to the private page only visible to board members
- Welcome them at the WJMboard mailing list so that they are informed
- Finally, move the application to this year's archive page
