Introduction to Economics

[edit source]

Hello, I just read Dr Ha Joon Chang's Excellent book - Economics- the User's Guide and I feel it is critical reading for anyone starting out in Economics- Simply put, it clearly tells you what Economics is and the various schools of Economic thought- that should be the first thing you tell someone before you start teaching them about models and scarce resources, I propose we add in the introduction, a short discuss on the various schools, historical and contemporary so that the student may see that he or she is actually dealing with one or two out of a multitude of thoughts. It will also show the student a historical perspective , helping the student grow a holistic understanding of Economics ZeusGuy (discusscontribs) 11:34, 6 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
