Welcome to this course on Student Success. It is often titled College Success elsewhere, but we wanted to focus on having successful students rather than a successful college. This course is also specifically designed to engage and support online learners.
If you are teaching this course in an eight-week format, we recommend the following sequence:
- Introduction
- Time Management, Social Interaction
- Learning Strategies, Study Skills
- Critical Thinking, Information Literacy
- Health and Safety, Finances
- Career Exploration
- Final Project (Academic Plan, etc.)
- Conclusion
